Select and use the hose correctly

Confirm the required length and whether the hose is suitable for the operating conditions. Check working pressure and suction requirements. Sudden pressure changes or peaks above the permitted maximum can significantly shorten service life. The hose ends should not remain immersed in the conveyed material.

Respect the minimum bend radius

Installing a hose with a bend tighter than its specified minimum can greatly reduce its service life. Check the product’s routing and bend-radius requirements before installation.

Clean and inspect

Drain the hose after use and clean it where necessary. Inspect it after each use for structural damage. The source recommends considering a hydraulic test after severe pressure exposure or prolonged contact between the outer cover and conveyed liquid; follow the hose manufacturer’s testing procedure.
